Keystone I  – 8th

Keystone I – 8th has 42 apartment units with ground-floor retail and commercial space.

515 28th

The blue, red, black, yellow and green stripes on the side of the newly renovated building at 515 28th St. in Des Moines are a clue to what’s inside.
The colors are those of the world cycling championship and signal the historic former print shop is home to the recently opened Chain & Spoke, Des Moines’ first combination bike and coffee shop.
RWR Development acquired this property in 2020 and selected Benchmark Real Estate to assist with the challenging redevelopment. They invested $2.5 million restoring and adapting it for retail and restaurant use.

1251 Keo Way

Benchmark Real Estate Group purchased the former Owen Crist Auto Body Services Inc. shop at 1221 Keosauqua Way in April 2019. The transformed building, which has large windows on the south that provide views of downtown Des Moines, has about 6,000 square feet of space.

6th and Euclid Bank

This building was originally constructed in 1917 as the Euclid Avenue State Bank and is included on the National Register of Historical Places. Benchmark Real Estate Group and RWR Development teamed up on this renovation project.

Argonne

The Argonne was built at the corner of 17th and Grand in 1919 when this area of Grand Ave housed the original “Auto Row” in Des Moines. It was built to house people working at the Ford plant across the street, which is now the Des Moines Schools Central Campus. With 4 stories of apartments above its street-level retail, the Argonne’s first-floor retail space used to house a Packard showroom and a Cadillac repair shop. The four-story brick structure has 45 apartments and 7,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.

Harding Hills

Harding Hills is located at 3420 Martin Luther King Pkwy in Des Moines, IA 50310. The property was completed in 1986. This Des Moines retail investment incorporates a total of 25,596 SF. Located in Prospect Park, this commercial property is situated on a lot that is 2.98 acres in size.

Office Park Rd

As part of the Midtown Office Park, the properties are conveniently located off I-235. They are in a central location for office users with regional clients/visitors.
